Springfield M1 Garand

This is a nice Springfield Armory M1 Garand from 1944. Springfield parts throughout with an original GAW inspected stock. Barrel dates to early 1945, so the rifle is likely assembled from parts but mostly correct. Finish on the barrel and gas tube is refinished, but receiver is in good condition, though their is some speckled oxidation on it. Bore has nice rifling but notable frost and freckling throughout. Muzzle is a 6, TE is a 4. The wood is in excellent condition with just a few dings on the edge wear it meets the handguard, and a small crack in the upper handguard.
