Springfield M1 Garand

Springfield M1 Garand? This is an excellent Springfield M1 Garand. The receiver dates to 1942 and the barrel is dated 1951. This gun was likely reworked for the Korean war. A peep sight was added to the rear sight. “NM” mark on the op rod. It looks like it has been re-parkerized. It has retained most of its finish with minor handling marks. There is a “P” proof on the wrist of the stock. The stock is very nice with minor dings and scratches here and there. The bore has good rifling with minor pin-pricking in the grooves.
